The Conjuring: Last Rites Shatters Franchise Opening Weekend Record
Per Deadline, as of Saturday morning, The Conjuring: Last Rites is projected to earn a 3-day opening weekend haul of roughly $75 million at the domestic box office. This will mark the best opening weekend of the entire franchise, beating out the previous record-holder, which was 2018’s The Nun ($53.8 million), by a substantial margin.
