The Cancelled Movie That Joaquin Phoenix Controversially Exited Is Now Revived
Per Deadline, the Todd Haynes movie De Noche, which Joaquin Phoenix dropped out of five days before filming in 2024, is being revived. The movie is expected to begin filming in Guadalajara, Mexico, in early 2026 and The Last of Us star Pedro Pascal is in talks to take the lead role. Top Gun: Maverick star Danny Ramirez is set to remain on board as co-star.
