Sailor Moon’smanga was first released in Japan in 1991, within the pages of Nakayoshi’s February edition, but it would take another six years to come out in the United States. MixxZine did not begin serializing Sailor Moon until 1997, and the true reason why it took so long for the series to reach US audiences is beyond frustrating.
