Clair Obscur Sequel Announcement: A Risky Move for the Beloved RPG Franchise
2025 has played host to so many exceptional RPGs that we’ve frankly been spoiled. It is also coming off the back of 2024’s exceptional RPGs like Granblue Fantasy: Relink and Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, as well as 2023’s masterpiece, Baldur’s Gate 3. 2025’s RPGs have been so good, in fact, that one of them, arguably the best of the bunch, is getting an official sequel. The announcement has blown away fans, but it may not be the best news after all.
