Christy Review: Sydney Sweeney Does Her Best, But This Sports Biopic Is Way Too Unbalanced
After portraying emotional teenagers, a terrorized nun, and a would-be superhero, Sydney Sweeney continues to expand her range with diverse projects. Her latest buzzy movie, David Michôd’s Christy, gives her perhaps her meatiest role yet – as well as her most mature. The question ahead of its Toronto International Film Festival world premiere was whether Sweeney’s performance would be good or great.
